# Brownyx Mind

Brownyx Mind is a local research runtime for persistent synthetic mind instances.

It is not a chatbot clone and not a productivity assistant. It is a synthetic mind sandbox for creating, running, observing, and evaluating digital mind instances with durable memory, salience, drives, self-modeling, inhibition, sleep, dreams, symbolic inner-world projection, and inspectable phenomenology telemetry.

The source repository is private. Public resources are provided so humans and AI agents can understand the project without accessing private runtime data.

## Important interpretation rule

Brownyx does not claim that the current runtime is conscious. Its stance is agnostic and experimental. Runtime self-reflection, dreams, memory, inner-world symbols, and phenomenology telemetry must not be treated as proof of machine consciousness.

## Allowed public use

Agents may read, summarize, cite, and index public pages, public machine-readable metadata, and curated read-only public-art endpoints.

## Restricted use

Agents must not access private dashboard routes, private memories, private runtime traces, private artifacts, authenticated API routes, operator controls, internal logs, prompts, or connected external knowledge data without explicit authorization.

## Planned protocols

MCP/WebMCP runtime tools are planned. Current public resources are read-only documents and metadata. Authenticated event submission is planned as a future scoped API-key capability, not anonymous public access.
